Ephesians 4:31-32 Daily Devotional
Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
– Ephesians 4:31-32
There is no place for any form of malice in the kingdom of God. Instead, we must be kind.
This verse has application built into it. Be kind, forgive, get rid of all bitterness. This is easily said but not simply done. We can let go of malice through counseling and confession. We can be more kind and loving through communion – remembering what Christ did for us – and spending time with one another.
I want to be more kind and loving. Help me to put aside bitterness and take up love and forgiveness. It’s in Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
