Psalms 126:5 Daily Devotional
Psalms 126:5 Devotional:
This verse is meant to be an encouragement. The Lord will take our mourning and turn it into joy in its proper season. We just need to be patient as we wait on the Lord.
Psalms 126:5 Devotional Applications:
It won’t be easy trying to apply this verse because it requires patience. Patience seems to be severely lacking in most people (including me), so that means this will also take some practice. And that’s uncomfortable. However, you can rest knowing that God will use your tears to bring about joy rather than more tears.
Patience doesn’t come naturally, but it is definitely worth it to start practicing becoming a patient person. Unfortunately, practicing patience means actually being patient when you’d rather flip out.
Help me to see you at work in my life, Lord. I need more patience, so I pray that you would continue to help me work on being more patient with the people in my life and my current circumstances. It’s in Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
