Justified by His Grace [Romans 3:23-24 Daily Devotional]
“…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.”
What is this verse about?
Even though we all fall short of God’s glory, we are all justified by his grace. Our sins are forgiven through Christ’s sacrifice. Through that sacrifice, we are made right in God’s eyes, and it’s not something we did on our own. It’s only through Jesus that we have redemption.
Justified by His Grace
The beautiful thing about grace is that there’s nothing you can do to earn it. It’s really just through our belief in Jesus that we receive salvation. That salvation should lead you to live up to the call he has on your life, though, but that comes as a response to the redemption he offers. Simply accept that Jesus died for your sins so you could have a full life, then use your freedom to serve Christ and others.
Jesus, thank you for your sacrifice. I thank you that you have put me in right-standing with the Father and that you have given me the opportunity to live my life to the fullest. Help me to recognize you working in my life as I serve the people you have put in my sphere of influence. It’s in your name I pray, amen.
