How to Worship Together [Psalm 95:6 Daily Devotional]
The author of this psalm is writing to his audience in ancient Israel inviting them to worship alongside them. The author wrote this verse a long time ago, but this invitation is still open for us today. The bigger part of this verse is that we’re invited to worship together.
How to Worship Together
It’s a good thing when you worship God on your own. It’s a better thing when you worship God with others. The best way to do that is to find a local church you can be a part of. No church will be perfect, but plugging in somewhere will take your faith and connection to Jesus to a new level.
If you’re already a part of a church, consider getting involved in a ministry. Worship is beyond just singing a couple of songs together. Using your skills, talents, and abilities to expand the kingdom of God is far more worshipful than spectating during a set of music.
Father, thank you for always inviting me to worship you. Give me opportunities to worship you with the people around me through music and through serving my church. It’s in Jesus’s name I pray, amen.
